As a true lover of food, Don Blackman created sauces that were the hit of barbeques with family and friends. His mouthwatering creations earned him the nickname the Sauce Man. Everyone who tasted them encouraged Don to start selling his sauces. So in 1976, he founded Garden Complements. Soon after his recipes were being served in some of Kansas City’s world-famous barbeque restaurants. But that was just the beginning.
